§ 147-1. Permit required; exceptions; fees.

Any person who shall conduct, for gain or profit within the Village of Windsor, any circus, theatrical, musical or other performance, exhibition or other public entertainment or any performance, concert or exhibition of curiosities, natural or artificial, shall first obtain a permit from the Mayor or Village Board, the license fee in each case to be fixed within the discretion of the Village Board at an amount set forth in appendix B of the Code of the Village of Windsor containing the list of Fees and Permits for the Village. Th foregoing provisions shall not apply to amateur performances, concerts or exhibitions or those for beneficial purposes, nor shall it apply to moving-picture shows held regularly in an established moving-pictur house.*

§ 147-2. Penalties for offenses. 

Any person who shall violate any provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty set forth in Appendix C of the Code of the Village of Windsor containing the list of Fines and Penalties for the Village for each performance.**

§ 147-3. Permits not to be granted for certain exhibitions. 

In no case shall a permit be granted allowing any exhibition of an immoral, lewd or improper character.
